Zygor’s website offers two guides, one horde leveling guide and one alliance leveling guide. They both cover levels 1-80 and are both based on solo questing mainly. What’s special about them is they are addons that you view in-game.

I’ve had the privilege of testing the 1-70 guides, and I did 60-70 as a Blood Elf warlock on a pvp server in just 49 hours! That’s way faster than any other guide I’ve tried. Here is a pic of my character at level 60 when starting out, and after hitting level 70

As you can see. I did level 60-70 in just 49 hours! That’s extraordinary if I may say so myself. This guide will save you so much time it’s ridiculous. (Oh, by the way, this guide is NOT against the terms of service in any way and will NOT get you banned.)

But the main advantage about these guides is how easy they make leveling. As I said, you get an addon which looks like this:

you can see in the pictures, there is a main window which shows all steps, and if you click the small arrow in the upper right hand corner it will toggle to the small window which shows the current step. Also note the arrow which will guide you EXACTLY where you need to go to actually DO the step (be it turn in a quest, accept a quest, kill some mobs etc.).

The arrow updates automatically when you click the next step. In fact, there’s an option to have the guide automatically skip to the next step once you’re done with the current step. How cool is that?

Everything is configurable the way you want it, but without being overly complicated. I was up and running within minutes so it’s very intuitive. There are installation instructions included so you’ll get going even if you’ve never used any addons before. It should not interfere with any other addons you’re using. Also, John (t

he author) usually responds to email VERY quickly if you need support.

The current location you need to go to will be shown on the world map too, if you need a larger view of where you’re going.

The only small issue I want to point out is the small bit of grinding that may be required here and there. Essentially, you do 90-95% quests and the rest is grinding. However, I never had to grind because I started with 1½ bars full rested XP, and I firmly believe that if you just take care to log out inside an inn or major city you will not have to grind at all.

IF you’re one of those people who play obsessively every day and always on the same character, then you may have to do some grinds. I’m just pointing this out to be fair and balanced. Regardless, it’s still the best leveling guide out there.

What sets this guide apart, according to me, is the following:

• VERY detailed instructions. I found myself virtually never reading any quest descriptions nor looking things up on wowhead or thottbot
• Very easy to use
• Very accurate (the waypoints guide you within YARDS of where you need to go)
• No more printing anything out, or minimizing WoW to look in a guide, or alt+tab:ing and forgetting the instructions. It’s ALL inside the game now and you can see what to do at a glance.
• Perfect for newbie and hardcore gamers.
• Includes class quests! This is a new addition and a HUGE benefit, because the guide will show you when to do your important class quests (not all, but those which affect leveling), and you will only be shown the quests for your particular class!

This is something different than a PDF guide and the value for money is excellent. I mean, it’s almost like stepping into another game when you’re using this guide and you’ll be adding levels shockingly fast.

There are many other good leveling guides as well, but this one stands head and shoulders above the competition and is now my preferred guide. If you want the best there is, this is it.
